Peach is a light shaded beautiful colour. It represents immortality. It goes with almost each and every colour. In this blog I am wearing a peach coloured top from Annabelle which is a quite stylish brand. It fits perfectly; it is comfortable and looks stylish. I have paired this with a black jeans and grey heels which are again from Annabelle. Annabelle is an in house brand of Pantaloons. It is also available at Jabong. No wardrobe is complete without Annabelle. I bought this sometime ago but since its now, I have started blogging so thought of putting this up in my first blog as it is one of my personal favourite.

How are you. I hope all of you are doing well. Okay I am just two blog old but I am really happy with the response I got for the last one. So here I am with my third piece of writing. I recently bought a bright yellow cotton kurta and its very pretty. So I thought of writing my next on this. We all know that cotton is very comfortable to wear and specially during summer. It doesn’t cling to the skin and allows the body to breathe. We seldom find that comfort in any other fabric. Talking about the colour yellow we know that it is bright and represents hope, cheerfulness, optimism and fun. So here is some of my personal favourite yellow outfits from various shopping sites which are affordable and yet gives you a super chic look. They have beautiful designs and the comfort is an add on. I have added bag and footwear too.

  1. Straight Kurta with Front Slit


This is a basic yellow kurta which can be paired with white palazzo (as shown in the picture) or white leggings. This can be wore in office as it is a simple plain kurta. Pair this with flat sandals and you are ready to rock the office look. If You have an after office date or an outing with friends pair this kurta with white brogues and you get that chic look. How to lose weight “Effortlessly”

Hello everyone. Today I am going to discuss about weight loss. Over weight is as big issue for all of us. Not being able to wear your most favourite dress is heart breaking. So all of us at some point of time or other must have definitely thought of losing weight. But there are so many of us who are either busy with their work or are too lazy to workout. So here I come with some really effortless way of losing weight without exercising because every little bit helps.

1.Eat fruits 


We often tend to eat junk and unhealthy food when hungry. Replacing them with fruits can help you to lose weight without actually doing anything.You can start your day with 2 apples and a pomegranate or 2 apples and an orange. Oranges are good for skin and can help you lose weight too.

2.Take the steps-


We often use elevators when we go for work or somewhere else.Taking the stairs instead of the elevator helps to lose that extra weight in an effortless way. We know that walking stairs is hard work. It’s very tough and absolutely exhausting. Running stairs is not a form of exercise for the faint hearted, so you need to mentally prepare yourself and give it all you’ve got when you are doing so. Running stairs can also be used as high intensity interval training. You can alternate between intense stairs running for 30-60 seconds followed by 30-60 seconds at a slower less intense pace.

3.Drink water-


Water, yes drinking water helps us to lose weight. Have a glass of water 30 minutes before having your meal and see the effect. If you have water before having your meal you wont just hog everything, since you are not so hungry. This controls excess eating and maintains body weight.

4.Eat breakfast  –


Many of us skip our breakfast in order to lose weight. But it is wrong to do so. We lose weight when we burn more calories than we consume. So eating a meal in the morning boosts our metabolism more than eating the same meal in the afternoon or evening. So breakfast should be done withing 3 hours of getting up in the morning. So start eating ladies and see the effect!

5.Go for a long drive walk-


Walking when the weather’s nice is a super-easy way to keep yourself fit. It is more romantic than the long drive we all go for. It keeps you healthy and fit. Google says if you add 30 minutes of brisk walking to your daily routine, you could burn about 150 more calories a day.

6. Sleeping –


Sleep more and weigh less? Is this true? This sounds like a fairy tale. But yes it is true. Sleeping helps us to burn calories and therefore lose weight. The longer you are awake, the more likely you are to consume calories you don’t need, which can cause you to gain weight. Even if  you eat the exact same diet as your friend, and  if you are not getting the sleep your body needs, you won’t drop as much fat as them.

7.Sit Straight-


You can reduce your weight just by sitting straight.

8.Take hot water bath-

Bathing with hot water is the most effective way of burning fat and losing weight quickly. Most of us bath in the morning but have you ever considered taking a shower in the evening instead? Showering at night has lots of benefits — one in particular leading to weight loss. When we take a shower before bed, our body cools down and we tend to fall asleep quickly. This helps in controlling the stress and reduces weight.

9.Stand where-ever possible-

You have often offered a seat to an elder in bus or train while travelling as courtesy. And now you need to do this to reduce your weight. Standing increases your heart rate so you burn more calories, but also builds strong lean muscle . So try to stand in buses and trains. You can een ditch your office chair and ask for a standing desk. Because just a little switch can help you burn a surprising number of calories.

10.Eat at regular interval-

One of the most important way to lose weight is by eating regularly at intervals. Do not grab all at a time. Instead have small small meals after 4 hours. This helps in proper digestion of food and cutting those extra fat.

Remedies to remove sun tan in summer

Summer is here. One of the biggest problem during summer is Skin tanning. So here are some natural ways to protect your skin.


Tomatoes are good for skin tanning. Infact its good for all kinds of skin problem in some way or the other. Tomatoes have a high water content and so it moisturizes our skin and keep it healthy and shiny. Take a few drops of tomato juice and apply it on your face with a cotton ball. It contains a high amount of Vitamin C which is helpful for skin brightening.



Cucumber mostly contains water. it also contains large amount of ascorbic acid which is found useful for skin, hair, eyes etc. It helps in revitalizing the skin, removes tan and controls puffness of the eyes.

Potato juice is good for tan removal. It can also be used to remove skin blemishes. It cure pimples, tan and spots on the skin. Water used to clean potatoes can be used to clean hand and legs. People with dry skin can drink one glass of potato juice daily to protect skin from the toxins.

Papaya is the best source of vitamin A which aids in tan removal and dead skin cells. It keeps the skin hydrated. Consumption of papaya on a regular basis adds an everlasting shine on the skin.



Curd is the best home made remedy for people with dry skin. Curd is rich in lactic acid, which helps to improves skin complexion and makes it softer and more radiant. It removes tan and adds a glow to the skin.



Honey has anti-bacterial properties. When used with the other ingredients, can also be used as a moisturizer. It has anti ageing properties too.



Ice cubes the most cost efficient way for tan removal. Rubbing the ice cubes on the tanned area for a few minutes can be very helpful.



Regular use of grinded almonds with rose water and lemon gives the best results. It also nourishes the skin.

10. MILK


Milk contains lactic acid which fades sun tan within a few days.  It also hydrates the skin.
